Hello! Several times a year we like to reach out with important developments here at the Marion Animal Hospital. In this letter we’re hoping to update you on some important staffing changes, newly available diet delivery services, and to share our appreciation for how our fantastic clients have worked with us to help keep everyone safe during the covid-19 crisis.
Covid-19 Protocols
We cannot thank our clients (and patients!) enough for working with us to follow our Covid-19 safety protocols. Your patience and understanding has allowed us to continue safely providing the best care possible to our furry friends, and we appreciate how much everyone has worked with us to overcome these challenges.
We are continuing to assess our protocols on a month to month basis to determine when best to implement a return to our previous functionality, and we will keep everyone updated on these changes as they occur. Thank you again for helping us all to remain healthy and safe.

Welcome, Dr. Schaefer!
As part of our recent staffing changes we’d like to officially welcome Dr. Cindy Schaefer to the Marion Animal Hospital Team! Dr. Schaefer is a graduate of Purdue University, and owned Apple Country Animal Hospital for 31 years. She has extensive experience in surgery and dentistry along with general internal medicine. She now resides in Marion along with her German Sheppard and Siamese cat.
With her addition to our practice appointments can now be scheduled with Dr. Cindy Schaefer, Dr. Katherine Crowley, and Dr. Rachel Francis.
Hills To Home Diet Delivery
Is your pet on a Hill’s Science nutrition or prescription diet? Hill’s diets can now be ordered online and delivered directly to your home at no additional cost to you! Standard shipping (2-3 business days) is free, though expedited shipping is also available. Simply enroll in the HillsToHome program through our website, enter a few details about your pet and diet selection, and once approved you’ll be able to order your Hill’s Science diet directly from the manufacturer.
